Introducing... the Future

It's 2012, and those of us who aren't freaking out because a culture about which we know very little seems to have predicted (though we can't tell for sure) that this is our last year on earth, are actually pretty interested to see what the year will bring. Here in the United States, we have an election -- and with that, the possibility of new Leadership in the Halls of our government. New technologies coming out all the time, new movies, music, and books. 

Oh, the books. Not to give ourselves any undue attention, but Diminished Media will actually be bringing you more great fiction from DDM regulars Bryan Thomas Schmidt and Rebecca Minor, along with a few other surprises and announcements along the way!

We're also looking forward to growing our website and readership, adding to our already stellar collection of contributors, and bringing even more outstanding speculative fiction to computer screens all over the world!

And speaking of outstanding fiction, let me tell you a bit about what we have in store for you this month.  First, I'm very pleased to present yet another Feature from our dear friend Diane Graham. Diane has also just unveiled the cover for her new fantasy novel, I Am Ocilla -- a book to which we at DDM are very much looking forward. Her new book will be released by Splashdown Books, who also published the novel, Winter, by our newest serial contributor, Keven Newsome. Keven is bringing us a fantastic new adventure, "Among Dragons," which we will present monthly. Speaking of serials, Bryan Thomas Schmidt is back with the next installment of "The North Star" series, which is sure to delight and surprise you. DDM regular Walt Staples is back this month as well, with futuristic little comedy -- at least, I thought it was funny -- and we're welcoming two new writers, Lief Notae and Tim McCoy, to our ranks as well.
